VballStayover/Karaokes!

The little time left before I go to the US has been well-spent trying to meet up with diverse and different groups of friends forgotten or simply for fun. It started with gym with Jem, before meeting up with my vball juniors for a stayover as planned by Benedict!

Ben, Tim, Daniel, Yinxin, Zijian, Yiyan and Kelvin came over in the evening, and we proceeded with what is best done at my house: Pigging out to movies!

The boozebunch

We saw Date Movie, Blade: Trinity, Fight Club, Underworld: Evolution and loads of the Ali G show. In the meanwhile, there was LOADS of boozing with Alize (raspberry cognac!), gin and omfg RUM. There were chips and Crunch and Doritos and pizza and essentially a freeflow of fat. Then there was the getting high and the doing of stupid stuffs that could lead to the gradual demise of existence..

Anyway, it rocked! They left this morning as Jem came in and we DotAed and prepped for.. KARAOKE!

We went down with Tres, Michelle and Congren, and had 5 hours of a BIG room with near limitless songs to ourself! AND best of all, it was a GOOD karaoke night for me albeit the uber chillied ban mian earlier! WOO.

Then we dropped by Nick's and i found out my Xmas/Bday gift from them, A PSP! WA seh life just gets better and better. Now, we're awaiting our McDonald's, with which we'll be spamming Heroes to.

GUESS WHO WENT TO KUALA LUMPUR FOR $200?

No, not LKY.. Me la! Haha along with Jessica, Congren, Boon, Leehui, Tim, Haoyi and Sherilyn!

I didn't spend a single cent theoretically, since Jess was acting as my sugarmommy the whole way heh! She owed me money cause i had to pay for her trip upfront (and come to think of it, STILL owes me)!

After the Ong Xmas dinner on Saturday (9th Dec), i made my way down to Golden Mile Complex near Beach Rd to meet the others. Here, we were to catch the 6 hour bus ride down. Thankfully, Golden Mile prepared us for the sleaze and scum that is Malaysia, what with the Thai HipHop discos..

The bus was HUGE and spacious and gargantuan and elephantine.. and did i mention huge?? There was even an in-flight entertainment-y system, on which i watched 'Hoodwinked' (which rocks albeit the animation). We reached Berjaya Times Square Hotel, which had '900 retail outlets, 2 departmental stores, 65 cafes/bistros/restaurants, a 56-lane bowling alley, 9 cinema screens, an indoor amusement park, etc'. Damn imba.

Oh and the guys room got upgraded to a deluxe S$1000-a-night, 2 masterbedroom place! Wooo. Other than that, it was shopping, eating loads of cheap food (Kenny Rogers, hotplates and NipponTei), slacking in the room and dancing (don't ask), roaming Chinatown and coming across UBERCUTE white puppies and winning a chocolate cannoli off Jessica in a weird Sudoku bet. Also, running into kittens on the 22nd floor, filming amatuer san ji pians, listening to the jazz band, being ugry Singaporeans, sleeping without underwear.. Heh.

Buffet breakfasts, 5-star hotels, Baskin Robbins, inexpensive T-shirts.. KL is truly a place for the unrepentant cheap slacker. Too bad i'm not that much of a cheapass :P

And everyone kinda had the flu on the trip, so YAY me for bringing medicine to share wahaha.

Celebrate!

Well well, seeing as how we apparently never get sick of MOS (even when we are physically sick), it was yet another party there last night/this morning!

The list of reasons for celebrations ranged from the end of exams, 20th and 21st birthdays, and simply the fact that we COULD (Wahaha).

Once again, however, instead of getting a room, we got 2 booths instead :( . Stupid corporate functions wargh. There were about 45 people in our extended group, definitely enough to start Dunhill going again la!
