Post-Prelims To-Do list:

Things i MUSTMUSTMUST (or preferably, or already am going to) have/do after the prelims:

1. Stayover and movie marathon for 3N!
   
2. Stayover and crapfest/drinking party with Banana Republic and EFers
3. Karaoke at environment building with all karaokiers! Also with the badminton/pingpong and squash courts ;)
4. CD shopping once more (Fergie's The Dutchess/Scissor Sisters' 'Ta Da!'/Mya's 'Liberation'/ Ciara's 'The Evolution'), and contemplating many many others (Dixie Chicks, P Diddy)
5. Go Australia for Ka's 21st! Bleurgh. Stupid SATs.
6. Russell Peters October 7th!
7. MassGym once again :P. Shan suggested testing out Cali. I'm feeling we won't be the ones doing the pumping there lah. Oh and SWIM to practice for triathlons!
   
8. Spam Comics that were ordered from Amazon! SOOOOO many, like, $300 worth coming in less than a week!
9. Finally finish off Invader Zim with Nick x.X (hence meaning mass stayovers as well).
10. Sentosa! Volleyball and the likes of picnics..
    
11. Intro Michelle to ice-cream/chocolate mooncakes! ALTERNATIVELY visit the Taka basement on an empty stomach ;)
12. Claim my treat of a RoyalFlush burger from CW, after he so unceremoniously soiled my house.
13. Go to a bar! Haha been meaning to actually sit and sip..
14. DotA till kingdom come. Or at least till morning come heh.

WAHAHA.

Anyway, the prelims have been going better-than-fine. I managed to complete all my papers! A feat by RJ standards o.O

And as you can see by my new DP, i have a new hairstyle! Shaved lines in the side, and almost got barred from the Maths Paper on Monday by Alfie haha ("If I were the A level examiner, I might ban you from the paper.." "Oh.. Ok then ill go and ask some teacher-in-charge about it" "I AM part of the discipline committee for the prelims."). Right.

Then of course there have been the midnight galivants with the CAR. Since P³ was out of town, the car has been free for the taking (and the Payar Lebar romps).

After the physics paper yesterday, we went down to J8 for lunch, and i discovered "FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS" and "KELIS WAS HERE", albums by JT and Kelis respectively! Considering how barren the CD market has been of late (I had to resort to local bands Electrico and Texas for my weekly CD nutritional requirements O.o), I snapped them up immediately!

And i just ran 21km again, this time in 1hr55min, a new record (previous time was abt 2 hours for some unknown-but-slightly-less-than-21km distance :P)! Best thing, is that yesterday i didn't "hit the wall"! For those of you unfamiliar with the term, its when one runs out of glycogen and starts burning fat, the transition of which is akin to being struck by multiple fevers. The route, btw, is my house - serangoon central - lornie road - j8 - sin ming - thomson - macritchie - macritchie 5km route - home.

Anyway, today's been a good day to relax away the aches, and await the 6 hours of papers once again tomorrow X.x

Shut Up And DANCE!

ShutUpAndDance @ NUS was on tonight at the NUS Centre for the Arts. I was invited to bring some friends along by Calista, who was performing with the NUS Dance Troupe!

Due to everyone's sketchiness, I just went in and bought 5 tickets, originally intended for Me/Tres/Amanda/Reiko/Dar. Unfortunately, the latter 3 could NOT make it (but WHY?!), and they were replaced by Michelle/AG/Bern instead, after much ado.

OMG Tres's small head makes mine look damn huge lah..

Before walking into the auditorium, I had NO IDEA that it was a HIPHOP DANCE show. The DJ turntable, strobe lights and heavy bass gave it away, and i was pleasantly (ok, ecstatically) surprised. Ask Michelle!

What ensued was 2 hours of the sexiest dances ever [silhouette!]. I, being a HipHop afficionado (an oxymoron if there ever was one :P), thoroughly loved eet! So many favourite songs were played, from SexyBack to GetDownHitTheFloor and even BadMan! And of course, there were the sultry dances oozing with sex appeal, the wildly innovative dances (leopardskin!), the battles AND the hots!

After that, we adjourned down to Clementi for supper, before the loooong train ride back (hi YongGeng!).. And now, the 3 hours of continuous mugging begins. Or at least HAS to.

Friday afternoon saw me meeting up with CW for my belated Carl's Jr meal. This was due ever since... WEDNESDAY, where i was supposed to meet with Jem/Nick/Shan/CW, but got food-poisoned instead. I had the Double Bacon Thingum, which was so meatily filling. WOO! No more Carl'sJr-lust for the next 3 months!

After that, we adjourned to the HSBC Starbucks in an attempt to mug our quota in anticipation of the housewarming party P³ had organised (for his younger, hotter, clubbier friends).

In the blink of an Anti-Mage (never mind, geek DotA joke), we were at my house, celebrating its newly christened state of COMPLETE RENOVATION! The guests started pouring in while the alcohol started pouring down, signifying the start of the housewarming party to end them all!

There were also several friendly 'hots' (NOT a derogatory term :P) that came along with Lionel! Crystal, Marilyn and Cara. At this point, Daryl and Linus [HAP DAE YOU YOU] had also arrived, along with countless others that i can barely remember.. And so began the whirlwind shutterslutting..

They lot of them left earlier for Zouk, however, and it was to my room for Maximum Stonage. Gail also came, and Dar was happy enough to perform some magic on for her! Ross also came with Hero, her Garfield-lookalike cat that was the main attraction of the night!

In the meantime, i was also earning my keep for being at the party in the first place! I was dubbed the official TourGuide, and had to relay interesting anecdotes while bringing people about the house..

WOoo. After that, Fabien/Jo/Ben also came, and started freeloading on the boozeums. CW got pissssssing drunk, and has now been forever barred from drinking in my presence (after his projectile finale).. He also *ahem*ed with a particularly rotund housekeep.

Shoutouts to Seth/Agnes/Annie/Regina/Ansari/Angela/Toon/TKK and USL/random angmohs/Mikhail/many many many others whose names i've forgotten [sorrry, memory capacity on low for the next two weeks!].

Putting CW down to... Why Don't You and I - Santana ft Alex Band

'WASTED'

.. is the word i scribble in thick black felt whenever i spend an entire day doing absolutely NO WORK (multiply this by 3 if doubt my credibility ;P). Today has been one such day, but it was definitely not a waste!

It began with waking at 12pm for lunch. Dar stayed over from the KRUNK! the night before, and we both had to rush down to Orchard for our respective meetings.

P³ was gracious enough to fetch us and I arrived on the dot for my PSC Scholarship Tea session. There, I met Jeremy Auw (now shortformed as Jem), who was interested in the PSC (and was way underdressed, which was besides the point). Also, it was CRAWLING with RJC people. Apart from giving out major freebies and glorious lychee-tarts, it was rather ho-hum. The only good thing was the catching up with people like Nicholas and Clarence, as well as intro-ing Jeremy to some classmates.

Once it was over, Maxine/Bryan/Jem/I walked down to the MRT, and had one of the weirdest chain of conversations ever (with me and Max crapping substantially). We were headed to SGH to visit Jem's friend Ty, who recently had surgery.

Thanks to God's blessings, the operation was a success, and he is now happily recuperating.

I swear Ty has the hottest siblings in the world, and they're in the age range of 8 to 11!! *PAEDO ALERT*. Anyway, even TKK/XKK came down to pray for them, so it was all good! They're such a cool and chirpy family, its hard not to feel envious.

Soon after, it was a frantic rush down to Jeremy Nunn's (now shortformed as Jermy) birthday party. There, we met up with him and his sister Jasmine, and their friends Cathleen/Isalee and Amalia.

After an extremely gratifying and filling BBQ, it was cake-cutting time! Jasmine chose a cake that came from *tada* BREADTALK. What's more surprising is its immense sensuality. Spread the Breadword of mouth!



After the party, it was down to hanging at Jermy's house and chilling. Jermy was a very good friend from my childhood, and we share many a fond memory either destroying buildings, making race tracks or yachting around Singapore. Now, he's reached the mature age of 19, and i can't help but miss some of the fun we used to have. No worries, however, as there are many new avenues now! Its so amazing to see him attached, immersed in University life, etc.

Its even more amazing when I think of how he views me now. Also, its unfair how mixed people look so good x.X. CURSE YOU UWC!



Anticipating KARAOKEEE to... Fighting Over Me - Paris Hilton

Krunk! @ Sentosa promised loads of fun. I had forced myself to finish up all the topics on Magnetism AND Ionic Equilibria in anticipation of this 'beach party' that promised a foam dancefloor, kissing booths and bargain-item stalls and a flesh parade!

We started off fetching Nick, and went down to Harbor Front to meet up with the others. Soon, Amanda/Michelle/Dar/Tres arrived, followed by Fabien and then Jo/Tab/Reina/Elle.

After a hurried dinner, we boarded the bus, with sufficient eye candy to keep us excited for the event ahead. Once there, however, all we saw was a fountain garden full of youth-ish people sitting down and stoning, obviously waiting for someone to instigate something fun.

Being exceptionally 'fun' people ourselves, we plopped down on the steps and began CAMWHORING! (I swear I need a new term for this overused cliche of a term)

Besides the 'Calvin Klein' RJ rugger, the girls spotted these hot ang mohs, and wanted to take a picture with this particular dogtag-wearing guy. Unfortunately, through a mixup of sorts, they had to settle for his slightly less buff and less good-looking friend.. He was exceptionally friendly and amusing though (read: clingy).

Finally, the crowd was energised! We started dancing, but amidst the sweat and grime (and at the girls' bequest), we somehow lost our shirts :P Too bad Fab and Jo didn't strip too, or else it would have been a gayfest fit for Siegfried and Roy!

All in all, however, the party didn't live up to its expectations. We left at about 3am and everyone crashed my house for Macdonald's and Mystery Men (God, I love alliterations).

Thanks to the company, the night was one of the funnest still! Many Hi's to Amanda's hot(les)friends, Amos&Co, BenLoong&Co, AndrewYap and Gen, and other people who were there and whom we made momentary contact with!
