Farewells Are Well, Unfair.
Every new beginning comes with some other beginning's end.
Profound words from the rather unprofound (Semisonic, a band), but true indeed.
With the advent of the school year in US/UK, these past 2 months have seen the ebb and ebb of many people from the sunny shores of Singapore.
We've lost our BFFs and our BFs, our girlfriends and our jie meis, our cousins and our classmates, our brilliant scholars (whether we can swallow enough of our pride to acknowledge), our confidantes and our boozebuddies, our cliquemates and our inconsequentials..
The list goes on.
Small bits of our soul are being spread thinly over the earth. I think its the closest any of us can be to world domination.
3 (ok 4 if you count Jo but then he's been gone for a while already) EFers have left for Europe.
FABIEN: Sorz bro i couldn't make it for your send-off, let alone your 21st andWARGH STUPID NS LIABILITY everything. Don't worry, all my comics and DVDs will be awaiting your return for some FLBing.
DARYL: Sigh there goes all my drive for mass-socialising with your departure :P Haha nah just joking. I'm really grateful for us having grown so close and helping build each other in Inner and Outer Game. All the fun times i'll never forget man, so quick finish your one year there!
Really glad i got that Night's Off for that 'Last Supper' at HK Cafe with you.
