USA 2: City of Debauchery and City of Angels
Las Vegas was the 3rd stop on our trip. We met up with Mingwei, Dar's friend who's studying in Yale now. Haha i met him before in a club, and he brought some fun back to the group with his hyper antics and video roulette (and random connections to people in my year)!
I was ecstatic over the fact that i was now 18 and legal! Unfortunately, it was discovered there that the legal alcohol (and hence clubbing and gambling) age was 21.. Heck that didn't stop me anyway :P
Our board was in the Flamingo, located conveniently in the middle of the strip.
Our rooms this time, however, were definitely made for some kinkified kinkyness.
The beds and theporn TV
The Home Entertainment Centre (aka toilet)
It had the works: Sliding doors for the toilet that couldn't be locked, translucent frosted glass that one can just barely make outsomeone shitting genitalia, remote control drapes and curtains, 24-hour access to porn (and a television in the toilet), nipple sprays in the bath (don't ask)...
Club!
Anyway, while there, i lost USD$6 gambling on the various1cent slots! We also went clubbing at the Imperial Palace's Club, KTV, spent 2 nights watching the Duelling Pianos Bar at Harrah's (ROCKED OMG JEREMY YOU WOULD HAVE LOVED THIS), watched Zumanity (a Cirque Du Soleil sex show), rode the Manhattan Express at NewYork NewYork, rode Speed at Sahara 8 times, drove to the snowy Red Rock Canyon, ate at the International House of Pancakes, went to a factory outlet mall and spent over USD$100...
Essentially, loads of debaucherous fun.
After Vegas, it was down to LA for some slacktime and recuperation. And by recuperation i mean SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN! Our hotel was a 2 minute drive from the attraction, and for once it was a legitamate, pure ROLLERCOASTER THEME PARK! WOOO
6Flagnatics
Dar/Mingwei/Me/Kar eating our Tatsu Don.
There, we took the whole shindig of rides, including TATSU, their newest attraction where one had could 'fly at the speed of fear'. It involved us sitting down normally, then the carraiges being rotated 90 degrees backward so that we faced the ground! There was also DEJA VU which was a back/forward coaster, and the standup ride the Riddler's Revenge!
Apart from that, it was the typical visitation to all the landmarks (Mann's, Santa Monica).. Food was good at Red Lobster too, where we used 3 tables' tissue packs as our poker chips!
Sammy the Collie mix at Santa Monica!
Boredwalk, Iraqi War Memorial
And the Oscar for Best Body goes to...
The hotel had FREE INTERNET and computers, so guess where we all stayed X.x There was also a lot of perving from Mingwei over girls in my year.. (sigh) And to top off the trip, it was HOOTERS on our New Year's Eve!
Hoot hoot!
Woooo even though this leg of the trip wasn't as fun as the skiing, it still majorly kicked Singapore ass!
And the cars of the trip..
Merely commentating to.. I Wanna Love You - Akon & Snoop Dogg
