The First Half and the Last Bunch
After waking up at 2pm on Saturday (post-clubbing recovery, get used to it x.X), i spent approximately 9 hours awake reading comics and freeloading at Nick's, before i went to sleep again at 11pm. The carboloading, the refraining from gym, the psyching up.. All for today's STANDARD CHARTERED HALF-MARATHON!
This was my first official 21.1km, so it was really wracking my nerves. We got up at 5am, frantically packed the supplies (and camera heh) before going down to City Hall to report. There, we met up with Yiqing, a HH-instructress! Even at 6am, the atmosphere was like a carnival, and the sheer throngs of people turning up just showed how sporty Singapore could be.

Both of us were running the Half, so we went to the starting line first while Ka met up with Sena/Amanda/Melissa (10km).
"Now why would you think we're cops?"
I thought the race was SUPER! The energy gels actually kinda worked (psychologically, at least), whilst the morning weather was perfect for running. The route could have been more scenic, but its good enough with the Fullerton Bridge and all..
In the end, I took about 2 hours to complete it *BEAMS*. Woo and i haven't properly trained since the Prelims lah. Running is bad for muscle mass haha.. Atrophy x.X

My singlet's supposed to be navy blue O.o
OMG got a damn nice medal that says 21.1k on it heh.
Shoutouts to Ashish, Phang, Shan, Nicole, Ben, Mok, ShuXian and that random ACJC girl whom i paced for the last 5km (you rock!)!
The 2000 calories burned from the run was VERY worth it, for there was yet another event worth all the hype and anticipation.. THE EFERS XMAS PARTY!

Our hunger is echoed in Daryl.
At the same time, it doubled as celebrations for Nick/Fab/UWilson's birthdays, as well as the massive secret santa gift exchange.

The food ROCKED! Woooo and the caroling and thanksgiving and singing and the chiselled-ness. So sad that this is potentially the last christmas we can all spend together..
