Summer Welcome @ MOS
Yesterday night heralded one full week's worth of organisational effort, it was the SUMMER WELCOME party at MOS! This party was intended for friends and family who had returned from overseas studies for the summer/winter holidays (namely my sister Karlyne and good friend Jeremy)!
We arrived promptly outside the Ministry of Sound at 10pm, with glittered arms (don't ask) and eager hearts. I came in with Damien, Jeremy, Fabien and Nicole (as well as P³) . Tabbie and her friend Hweeying were already there, and we were soon joined by several cosplayers Amanda, Sena, Carlise, Reiko and Justin. It was a period of mass socialising while we awaited the arrival of others, and since the room would only be opened at 11pm..

Of course, while waiting, everyone was dissing the floral shirt i got. 'SO GAY' and cries of that sort rang about the MOS entrance, drawing lots and lots of unnecessary attention (as is typical of Cosplayers :P). I MUST STATE THAT I HELPED PICK DAMIEN's OUTFIT so that you all don't think my fashion sense is as suck as such.
At least i'm not wearing the gay shoes..
My sis then arrived with a mini-entourage, wowing everyone! Even people like Sena were dressed up (and not in a cosplay-sense), looking dare i say, hot even.
As more funky fresh dressed people came, a HUGE logistical problem (aka Identificus Missingus) arose with the underaged-looking bunch of Jeremy/Damien/CW/Tabbie/Johan. Damien, my sister's dorm-mate in Australia, managed to get through thanks to his GAIJIN SMASH, while Jeremy was vouched for earlier. CW borrowed an undisclosed (fat before, sexy now) receiptient's ID and just towered over the guards to a smooth entry.
UNFORTUNATELY, Tabbie couldn't get in and had no ID. This prompted the borrowing of Nicole's IC, which was then CONFISCATED because Tabbiewas obviously not Nicole and was fingerprinted O.o. Nic then had to go down to collect it, and was actually barred re-entry into MOS, with the irritant gatekeeper repeatedly stamping over her intial chop.
It was therefore up to P³ (pronounced 'pee-cube', aka Pied Piper of Porn) to save the day! He swooped in and spoke to the manager, allowing Nicole to get in again. Tabbie wasn't, and her friend left with her to Zouk instead (SORRY!).
Once this was over, it was up to Dunhill room! It was sexy and swanky, themed red and had a miniature retro dance floor! The music settings could even be adjusted to play stuff from the other club rooms (Smoove, Retro, Pure, etc)!

Then, the drinking games began! Marc, Fabien, Daniel and CW got utterly WASTED. Ok, at least Fabien's tolerance was uber high.. Marc and Daniel ended up with headaches and had to be looked after by Nicole and Yijun respectively, while CW got crazy high and mad drunk, dancing like he was doing the Blademaster's Bladestorm. In the end, it was Daryl and I who had the honour of leading his toilet excursions.. I, on the other hand, only drank 3 shots and 2 drinks.. just enough to get my high but conscious :)
Midway through, P³ brought me and Daryl to the VIP room to mingle with his friends, only to have Daryl recognise some of his own! All sorts of random peoples were invited over to our room to hang around, and these were one of the pioneer batches!

After attempting to dance in the ear-shatteringly loud main arena, we (Me/Sena/Jeremy/Kar/
Damien/Callista/Tres/Amanda) went up to the Retro Room for some sensual disco hits. In this case however, it wasn't so much the hits than the hit-ons, as Tres and I were repeatedly stalked by several different gay guys trying to grab our waist and dance up on us o.O. Our respective partners (Sena/Callista) promptly pulled us closer and tried to prove our straightness, at the same time shielding us from them :P They also played 'Billie Jean'! And by this time i was with Amanda who also LURVES the song.
Daryl, in the meantime, gathered another bunch of hots in the form of Cherlyn, Nicole (another one) and Julia. P³ as well, brought in group after group of giggling girls and garrulous guys, who all mingled around and had their fun. DARYL YOU CONFIRM PASS.

Finally, as it all came to a close, people were still hung over and my camera came out in full swing. Even with the whopping number of pictures i took, i regret not taking more and more fun group ones! Enjoy these last few group pics!
