Brutha-ly Love

Welcome to the quarry of the quintessential quirk, the caberet of the crazed cretin, the abode of the aberrant aristocrat, the nexus of the neurotic engineer, the diary of the dogmatic dog-lover and the ranch of the revolutionary romantic! Have fun at your own expense!

Australia: Dissected

Guess who's back, back again. Guess who's back, tell a friend

Australia was a place of many words, mostly expletives actually.
Though somewhat forced upon, will remain ingrained, factually.
I dare you to read the entirety of this entry, as it pained me gruelly.

Day 1/2 (thurs, fri)
Left for Changi (airport lah, not prison) at the wee hour of 5pm, with much CNY loot still not raked in. Had to settle for $700 freakin expensive tickets on Valuair. I mean, what the heck's up with charging S$700 to go to Perth?? THe tuna bun thingies they served on board were quite toight though. Turbulence was rocking, literally. Kinda at the level of fearing-for-your-life thrills with an undertone of grave excitement.

Reached late at abt 12am and felt bloody hot (stupid summertime Perth). Went to a service apartment not before grabbing my first Auzzie meal of, get this: cold store-bought SANDWICH and fruit juice. *cue amazement and applause*

Couldn't sleep, hence gossiped with Kas and Ka like a buncha giggly schoolgirls for like, 2 hours about people's and self's secrets. None revealed here you peeper creepers!

Zoo the next day, with blistering heat, fly swarms and an early preview to Valiontine's Day (read: humping kings of the jungle). They said we were lucky to have witnessed this rare event, but i think they meant lucky as 'scarred for life emotionally'.

Rest of the day was pretty average, with shopping, Pasta, bubble tea, Pokemon all the way.

Day 3/4/5
Drove down to the quaint towns of Fremantle and Margaret River. It was strategically located near the sea, hence ocean breezes cooled it to a pleasant 16 deg C. Was even chilly in the wind siah. Sampled lots of wine (its vineyard county, whadya expect? grape gum?), ate chocolates, binged on good food and went for midnight runs.
I was told earlier that i looked "gaunt and sickly" by an aunt (am i???), so was trying to fatten myself up during this trip. Things along the lines of Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Subway, American cuisines and desserts and stuff...

Sting, the loserly bastard who can't do nuts to sound different, was performing at Margaret River, so we were hotel searching/hopping for a total of about 4 hrs on both days... If it wasnt for Pokemon and Zen ah, i wulda been bored to tears. But only if 'tears' meant 'violent rage due to immense sian-ness'.

Day 6
Back in Perth, stayed at some beachside resort and actually spent the better part of the morning sunbathing and swimming in Perth's beautiful oceans of cascading blue crush. Not as MJ-esque now, at least. Hmm, its like, the Auzzies are all so much more chio and buff than any Singaporean or Asian lor, and though not the standard of swimsuit editions, they made the beaching experience much more unique...

The afternoon turned into pure utter blistering broiling torturous sacriligious heat. It was a whopping 42 deg C, the hottest Perth has seen in 8 years. And whoop-de-doo, we had to endure it as a parting gift from down under. How ironic that my Zen played Missy Elliott's "I'm Really Hot" and BEP's "Hot" in that time. Its like, it KNEW lor...
